No divergence is currently recorded specifically for Accordion.
Gaps in the current rules
- A disabled Accordion with a body is not demonstrated anywhere. The one published disabled
story renders only a header. Whether a disabled Accordion can still be expanded to show its
body, and what that looks like, is unconfirmed.
- “Only one open at a time” behavior across a group of Accordions is not built in and not
documented as a pattern. Nothing in source coordinates sibling Accordions; whether the
product has a house convention for this (versus letting every section stay independent) is
unrecorded.
- The header/body id-pairing (
aria-controls + id) is only ever wired by hand in the one
published example. Whether every real usage across the product actually does this, or
whether unlabeled Accordions exist in production, has not been checked beyond source and
stories.
